Dr. Randy Leavitt, D.C.

Dr. Randy Leavitt—a native Oregonian and passionate outdoorsman—has been practicing chiropractic medicine in Portland since 2002. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Western States, following his undergraduate studies in pre-med at Oregon State University.

After graduating, Dr. Leavitt established his own practice and served as the lead adjusting instructor in the Chiropractic Sciences department at the University of Western States for five years. Beyond his clinical work, he also contributed as the team chiropractor for ORSU, Portland’s premier women’s rugby team.

Dr. Leavitt takes a comprehensive approach to care, treating a wide range of conditions including sports-related injuries, motor vehicle accident cases, and personal injury claims. His extensive postgraduate education encompasses specialized training in sports diagnosis and treatment, as well as advanced muscular techniques such as the Graston Technique. Additionally, he is certified by the Spine Research Institute of San Diego for the treatment and management of motor vehicle whiplash injuries.

Dr. Leavitt’s journey into chiropractic medicine was inspired by his own experiences. As an athlete, he first sought chiropractic care in his early 20s after injuring his back playing basketball—just days before a planned seven-day backpacking trip. After only two treatments, he was able to embark on the adventure, albeit with mild discomfort. Later, while running his own landscape business, regular chiropractic care allowed him to stay active and pain-free—an experience that ultimately sparked his desire to help others through chiropractic medicine.

When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Leavitt enjoys fly fishing, biking, coaching a competitive soccer team, and exploring nature with his wife, son, and their two dogs.

We’re excited for you to experience healing with Dr. Randy Leavitt!
