Dr. Jenny Curto, ND, L.Ac.
Jenny is trained in both Naturopathic and Classical Chinese Medicine. She believes well-being comes from feeling at home in one’s body, mind, and spirit, and recognizes that human connection and being heard are powerful tools for healing. She takes time to listen and thoughtfully research each case to create individualized, evidence-informed care, empowering patients through knowledge and collaboration in their own recovery.
Jenny has developed a strong clinical focus in gastrointestinal health (including IBS, SIBO, IBD, microscopic colitis, and acid reflux), grounded in a two-year residency with Dr. Ilana Gurevich that emphasized the gut–brain connection and integrative approaches to complex digestive disorders. Over the years, her practice has expanded to include complex chronic conditions such as POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), Ehlers–Danlos syndrome (EDS), mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), and chronic viral or post-infectious syndromes. She also enjoys supporting patients with a wide range of concerns, including women’s health, menstrual and menopausal transitions, thyroid disorders, cholesterol and metabolic concerns, anxiety, depression, and other everyday health needs.
Her approach recognizes the deep connection between the gut, immune, and nervous systems. She integrates both naturopathic and classical Chinese medicine frameworks, using herbal and nutraceutical supplements, acupuncture, pulse diagnosis, nutrition, exercise, pharmaceuticals, and lifestyle modifications to support the whole person.
Jenny continues to pursue training in both complex health conditions and health equity, recognizing that the healthcare system can often feel unwelcoming to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, body-diverse, and neurodiverse individuals. She strives to use every available resource to create an inclusive, affirming, and respectful space for all patients.
Outside of practice, Jenny enjoys foraging for herbs, discovering new board games, crafting herbal beverages, tending to her ever-growing houseplant collection, and starting more books than she’ll ever finish.
