Dr. Meghan Larivee, ND, L.Ac.
Dr. Larivee offers holistic, individualized care to support the health and well being of all her patients. She understands that each person is unique, and that her best source of information is derived from listening to the client sitting across from her. This approach ensures that her recommendations precisely fit each individual she treats. Combining conventional medical diagnostics with effective natural therapies, Dr. Larivee works to restore the body’s ability to achieve health and support the body’s natural balance. Further, she uses acupuncture to establish emotional and physical balance and to assist healing of the mind, body, and spirit.
Dr. Larivee practices medicine as a generalist with a particular emphasis on integrative dermatology, autoimmune disorders, and functional neurology.
While completing her pre-medical education at the University of Colorado, Dr. Larivee earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Environmental Biology. She received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, where she also earned a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. Dr. Larivee completed an internship at an integrative oncology clinic where she practiced both naturopathic and Chinese medicines. After graduation, she was selected as one of two residents nationwide for the STAIR Integrative Medicine Residency at the Institute for Restorative Health in Davis, California, where she gained further experience in neurology and family medicine.
When Dr. Larivee isn’t helping patients at Kwan-Yin Healing Arts Center, she can be found knee-deep in the outdoors; mountain biking, skiing, kite boarding or doing yoga. She loves spending time with her family and her two energetic and adorable young boys. Dr. Larivee has backpacked in over 30 countries throughout the world and there’s a good chance she’s already planning her next adventure.
