She utilizes Chinese and Western herbal medicine, diet and nutrition therapy, and a goal-oriented lifestyle approach to develop individual treatment plans unique to each person. Ultimately, Dr. Sand would like each patient to leave feeling empowered on their personal health journey and confident in working towards more balance and harmony in their own lives.
As a provider, Dr. Sand values health equity, inclusivity, and compassion in medicine. She creates a collaborative learning and healing environment with her patients, hearing and valuing each patient’s personal history and goals. Her clinical specialties include digestive health, pain management, reproductive and women’s health, allergies, and autoimmune disease. Dr. Sand sees optimal digestion as the root of health and aims to integrate the science of the microbiome and the deeper knowledge of the gut-brain connection to establish balance for her patients.
